Battle of Tewkesbury Anniversary walk

Hosted by the Tewkesbury Battlefield Society, this all-day walk begins at 9:00 am at Gander Lane car park. Participants will be transported to the Yorkist camp site at Tredington and follow the route of their advance to the battlefield, with a break at the Gupshill Manor Inn.

Armour Behind the Abbey

Sunday 3rd & Monday 4th May 2026 10.30am-4.30pm

Come and see our annual fundraising event being conducted at Armour behind the Abbey that will go towards our main event which if free to the general public on the 11th & 12th July 2026. 

Entry is £5.00 per head

Pageant Meadow (enter through Gander Lane car park)

Horses will be there especially King, who we all know likes to be the star of the show along with all his horsey fiends.

There will be horse and re enactor displays to walk around and archery display as well as people to talk to if you would like to know how we used to live in Medieval times. Discover what people use to get up to including what they ate, slept and what any scallywags might have got up to in their spare time.
