Saturday 28 March Living History Tudor Tours.
11.30am & 2.30pm

This living history tour will take you back in timeto 1580, where Agnes, a Tudor housewife, will reveal her life and daily routines as you wander through the home she shares with her husband, Thomas.

Easter Crafts

Wednesday 1 April and Wednesday 8 April - Easter Crafts

Rabbit hand puppets, using a craft kit to create a cute toy to take home and entertain your friends This craft will use pre-cut shapes, thread and plastic needles. On the 8th, we will be creating a beautiful wreath, using easter egg cut-outs. Decorating will involve colouring, tissue paper and the favourite of all the children…glitter!

The Air Land & Water Model Group Display

Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 10am-4pm Jet Age Museum, Staverton, GL2 9QL

The Air Water Land model group based in Gloucestershire is a small dedicated group of model makers who got together when other model groups would only support one type of modelling. Their only criteria is that the models they make are all radio controlled and built to their own exacting standards.

Easter Adventures Fun-Filled Family Adventures this Easter

Discover the four giant golden eggs with playful Easter activities along the way. Join the regal excitement of Hunt the Queen’s Hare and enjoy a special programme of Easter weekend events. Hunt the Queen's Hare A giant hare is hiding in plain sight – tall of body but with little legs – so you’ll need sharp eyes to spot it! To help you on your quest, follow the trail of golden eggs, said to have been gifted to Queen Elizabeth I, which will guide you through the grounds. Once you’ve successfully located the hare, you’ll be rewarded with a small Easter treat – because every good Tudor adventurer deserves a sweet reward.

Hot Cross Royal Pardons!

On Easter weekend history comes alive with an extra special Easter show, hosted by Queen Elizabeth I and her travelling court. Expect laughter, drama, audience participation and plenty of Tudor mischief in this family-friendly historical performance.

Spring Trail

Good Friday 3 April Spring Trail.
12.30pm-3pm

Drop in any time in your half-hour time slot to start the Easter Trail. As a family follow the trail of clues on a circular approx. 1 mile walk around the Common. Answer all the questions to find your way back and collect your prize! Adults free, £3 (plus booking fee) per child. Families are welcome to share trails but please note each trail purchased = each (edible) prize received.

Marvel at fantastic brick-built displays created by talented model builders. Expect engines, railways, landscapes, buildings, and incredible custom creations that will inspire every visitor. Toddington Station Get hands-on and create your own masterpieces in our interactive brick-building zone. With tables full of bricks and creative stations, children (and grown-ups!) can build anything from locomotives to imaginary worlds. A Brick Adventure by Steam Train Travel between Cheltenham Racecourse and Broadway on our beautifully restored carriages and enjoy a full day of fun across multiple locations. With activities at both Toddington and Winchcombe stations, there’s something to discover for all!

Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 April – Vintage Weekend 

Step back in time and celebrate the golden age of transport at the Vintage Weekend. A spectacular event that brings together classic vehicles, historic locomotives and nostalgic charm across our beautiful Cotswold line Throughout the weekend, our stations will come alive with activity as we showcase an impressive collection of vintage cars, motorbikes and heritage buses, alongside a full timetable of steam and diesel train services. Enjoy the sights, sounds and atmosphere of a bygone era as different forms of transport come together in one unforgettable celebration.

Easter Events at Nature in Art

Tuesday 31 March. Yoga and Friendship Bracelets.

First half of activity will be yoga fun and games to get our bodies moving. The second half, we will be use colourful thread and bright beads to make friendship bracelets.

Wednesday 1 April. Tie Dye Springtime Bunting.

We will be creating fun, springtime bunting by tie dying some fabric and then using some felt to decorate it. Get into the Easter spirit!

Thursday 2 April. Scandinavian Flower Doodles.

Firstly we will create some Scandinavian inspired flower doodles with pen and watercolour, taking time to add a unique design for each. We will then use clay and create a flower pot to “plant” our flowers in.

Friday 3 April. Easter Crowns.

To celebrate Good Friday, we will be baking some incredible Easter Crowns with paper, oil pastels, ribbon and many other fantastic materials.

Tuesday 7 April. Batik inspired by food.

Using hot wax and colour brusho paint, we will make some fantastic food inspired batik artwork that will get our tummy’s rumbling.

Wednesday 8 April. Yarn Butterflies.

Using lollypop sticks, pipe cleaners and yarn, we are going make some beautiful yarn butterflies that can be hung up to fly around your house.

Thursday 9 April. Recycled Jellyfish Friends.

We will use some plant pots, paint to create a Jellyfish body and a range of string like materials to create some funky, fun jellyfish tentacles.

Friday 10 April. Shoe Box Aquarium.

Today we will get crafty with some junk modelling to create some incredible shoebox aquariums with a wide variety of materials to ensure you have the most interesting and exotic home for all the fishes! You are very welcome to bring some of your own materials as an addition to your aquarium.

Prices include access to art activity and museum for 1 child and 1 adult ticket to the museum.
