Our public tour season for 2026 starts on 6 April and is available to book now. Pre-booked group tours are available on request. Tower Tours may be available on request for groups of five or more – subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.
Scale the dizzy heights of Tewkesbury Abbey tower (over 200 steps) uncover hidden spaces such as the Lantern Chamber and Upper Nave walkway and get the great views from the roof.
During the peregrine falcon nesting season (April to July), this tour will not ascend to the exterior summit of the tower, but instead substitute with additional hidden spaces.
Children over the age of 8 may go on a tower tour, 8-16 years olds must be accompanied by an adult (one adult to one child). For more information on hidden spaces (tower) tours below as these may not be suitable for everyone.
Tickets are available online up to 9am on the day of the tour and then available to purchase at the Abbey welcome desk on the day (subject to availability):
